RETAIL Future receives recognition for its involvement in digitalisation and innovation

The seventh edition of RETAIL future will be held next September 19 in CaixaForum Valencia.

The event reopens its doors as a forum in which to debate and analyze the latest trends in digitalization in small business and craft consumption. In addition, the winners of the event will be recognized E-líderes 2024, small businesses in Valencia, Castellón and Alicante that are leaders in innovation and adaptation to the digital model in the retail sector. 

In Valencia, this distinction has been awarded to nine companies that have adopted different innovation strategies in the current digital context, incorporating transformative elements into their business and creating responsible and sustainable models. 

Atypical, is a souvenir and gift shop far from the traditional offering, making the work of Valencian artists and illustrators visible is its main hallmark. Gnomo has a proposal that combines youth, modernity and adaptation to the digital environment with a traditional concept of small business where you can find everything from prints to stationery products. Vidrios Sorribes It is the perfect example of a century-old tradition and innovation, its consolidated trajectory in the creation of jewelry, decoration and lighting has been reinforced thanks to the drive of digitalization. 

Manualidades Batallón, is a business specialized in products to create and work with your hands that has managed to combine its value as a traditional business with digitalization and online sales. Sustainability and the circular economy define El Vestidor Vintage, a store dedicated to second-hand luxury fashion that offers exclusivity and quality, two values ​​that they have been able to take even further thanks to their online store and social networks. 

Companies from Moncada, Gandía, Turís and Paterna have also been recognised. 

Other companies recognised as e-leaders are located in different municipalities in the province of Valencia. 

Located in Moncada Garín 1820, a company that has been turning silk threads into works of art for 200 years thanks to the artisan wisdom of the family legacy, and which has also adapted to changes in the sector by modernizing the management of the company and expanding its audience thanks to social networks. From Gandia, Carns Fuster maintains the family business structure adapted to the new paradigm derived from the incorporation of technology and the change in consumer habits by the public. 

Carnes Boluda It is a company from Turis that has maintained, after four generations, artisanal and quality production, and thanks to online sales and a careful presence on social networks they have achieved great recognition in the butcher sector. 

The path to sustainability begins in Zapato Feroz, a company located in Paterna that produces and sells children's footwear made from ecological materials and free of agents harmful to health, has demonstrated its commitment to the well-being of children and families through its physical and online store. 

RETAIL future is a showcase to distinguish and make visible companies and businesses committed to transformation and innovation in different areas, such as sustainability, digitalization or social responsibility. But it also recognizes the commitment of all the people behind each business, for their interest in transforming the sector and promoting good practices. During the event, in addition to collecting recognition as e-leaders, videos will be shown with the testimonies of all these merchants, made within the framework of this initiative and collected through the resource portal www.retaildigital.es.

RETAIL future has been established as an annual event organised by the PATECO – Commerce and Territory Office of the Council of Official Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of the Valencian Community and the Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Generalitat Valenciana.

Since its inception in 2018, it has served as a platform for learning, experience sharing and trend exhibition for trade and crafts. It provides theoretical and practical resources to address the inevitable transformation required by today's society and consumers.

In its seventh edition, the next September 19RETAIL future introduce a diverse programme that examines disruptive technologies, the economic prospects of SMEs and collaboration as a response to challenging times. Attendance to the respective talks and the forum is free of charge.
