Convened by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce, the National Crafts Awards are intended to give institutional recognition at the highest level to those performances generally recognized as excellent and exemplary in the field of contemporary crafts.
The main objective is to promote the development and competitiveness of small and medium-sized Spanish artisan companies, encouraging innovation, design, sustainability and the ability to adapt to the market.
In the 2010 edition, Sorribes Glass obtained a FINALIST mention in the INNOVA AWARD category, with which products, prototypes or actions that represent a firm commitment to innovation in craftsmanship, through the use of new technologies, new materials or the innovative reinterpretation of traditional products or other actions of a similar nature.
